Moadlock sun room and internal structural alterations
The project at Moadlock started with the design stage for ourselves getting architects which we work with on a regular basis and our structural engineer. The big challenge for this job was to create to the open plan area making 4 independent rooms into one open plan space.
Working alongside Vanguard structural engineers and AG Architectural solutions we create this beautiful open plan space with two big picture windows, Aluminium sliding doors and the stand out feature the lantern.
We installed a new kitchen, media wall and utility. With a raised patio and steps to access the garden.

“We are delighted that we chose Bridge Construction NW Ltd for our extension and re-modelling our home. The build was complicated as 3 external walls and 2 internal walls had to be removed, a new internal foundation built to support an RSJ and a cavity under the floor to be filled to accommodate the underfloor heating. The addition of the glass lantern, new picture windows and new porch completed the build.

Highlights for us was seeing the RSJ's being lifted by crane over the house, fitting the huge picture windows, installation of the kitchen island and units and then seeing the build take shape into what was going to be our new living area. The new porch area opened up the previously dark hallway and flooded with natural light. The double doors (an extra fitted by Dan) into the new living space also take advantage of the light from the porch space to complete the creation of our lovely light, bright, ‘new’ home.
